"Ever since we moved to Chatsworth from Bolton Abbey in North Yorkshire, the Ashbourne Show has come up in conversation many times at social events.
Everyone speaks very highly of the Show so I am well aware of what a great honour it is to be invited to be President for this year’s Show.
I am already enjoying my involvement particularly meeting the individuals involved in organising the Show and I much look forward to our big day on Saturday 19th August. I used to breed Bantams so I won’t be able to resist the poultry section and my father was a farmer who bred Guernsey cows, so the cattle lines will be another point of interest. There is nothing finer than a genuine agricultural show with a grand parade as its climax.
