The Showground is approximately 2 miles south of Ashbourne, just off the A52, in the village of Osmaston. It is very important that you follow all direction signs. Sat Nav - use DE6 1LW follow directions to the Showground from/via the A52 ONLY.

On Show day, one way systems, approved by the Police and the Local Authority are in operation in Osmaston Village. They are from the Church to the Showground and from there, over the lane towards Wyaston. There is NO ACCESS LOCALLY FROM WYASTON OR THE A516 SUDBURY TO ASHBOURNE ROAD.

They can also be purchased from, Leek, Ashbourne, Tourist Information Centres, National Farmers Union, Uttoxeter, Betty’s Tea Room, Willington and Nigel Davies Solicitors, Waterside, Ashbourne.
We are happy to confirm we will have full ATM facilities on the showground on show day.

£500 first prize plus lots of other quality prizes.
The Show ground is open to the public from 9.00 am. Trade stands must remain on Ground until 5.00 pm.
All parking is free. There is a forward area for disabled but space is limited.
Disabled facilities are available. Please see menu for Disabled Visitor Information.

Parking - there is a limited disabled parking area reserved by the main entrance.

Toilets – there are disabled facilities available on the showground

Surface – please note that parking area is a grass field and the main showground though mainly level is a sports field without hard surfaces.
The bus runs throughout the day starting at 09.30 from Waterside Park. The last bus leaves the Show Ground at 5.40 p.m

Pick up points are Waterside Park, The Bus Station, at the top of Derby Hill and opposite Preston’s Garage, terminating at the Show Ground.

Dogs are allowed on the showground, but must be kept on a short lead at all times and at no point are they allowed in any livestock areas or Showing rings. Dogs should NOT be left in cars unattended.
Lost children should be reported to the Secretary’s Marquee.

Baby changing facilities are available in the pavilion.

First aid is available adjacent to the pavilion.
